Annual events

Every year, Leadership Green Bay celebrates its community involvement and leadership development through a series of events to benefit the program and the community at large. These events include:

  • Welcome Breakfast - Hosted the second Tuesday of September annually to introduce the class to alumni and one another. The breakfast is also an opportunity for employers to understand first-hand how their companies will benefit from being associated with the Leadership Green Bay program.
  • Opening Retreat - This two-day session teaches the new Leadership Green Bay class participants about their leadership styles and builds cohesiveness. To this end, it’s an overnight retreat hosted out of the Green Bay area.
  • Alumni Golf Outing - The alumni golf outing is hosted at the end of September as a social opportunity for Leadership Green Bay alumni to get together to have fun while raising funds for the program.
  • All-Class Reunion Breakfast - The breakfast is held each February to give Leadership Green Bay alumni an opportunity to network, hear a great speaker and honor the recipients of the Leo Frigo Award and John M. and Meredith B. Rose Business Awards.
  • Fun-Raiser - Hosted each March, the Fun-Raiser event taps alumni to raise funds for Leadership Green Bay scholarships with an evening that includes dinner, music, silent auction and raffle prizes.
  • Commencement Dinner - The dinner, hosted the second Tuesday each May, is the culmination and celebration of the nine-month Leadership Green Bay program. Each small group presents their small group projects after a dinner, and is a true celebration of what participants have learned and what they will do for the community with their volunteer activities.
